With @nsyndergaard on the mound, the #Mets beat the @セントルイス・カージナルス 9-4, starting the season on a positive note. But @heislerphoto spent much of his time focusing on the action off the field — like the moment @mrmet emerged, before the game. In the stands, one fan held a sign to commemorate Rusty Staub, who died today at the age of 73. (Rusty played 23 seasons in the major leagues, 9 with the Mets.
