Students stood in front of us holding this sign today as we marched in LA in solidarity with them, with families who have lost their loved ones to gun violence, with survivors fighting for change, and the many Americans who believe that sensible gun reform is possible and necessary. I post this for the people unable to make it to a march today for whatever the reason may be. You should know that many people were there with their children in honor of lives lost, using our voices that we thankfully still have as the living to say “ENOUGH”. We aren’t advocating to take people’s guns away. We are advocating for guns to be much harder to obtain, for the NRA to get the hell out of politics, and for schools to be a well funded safe haven for children to be educated in, not terrified to be in.
