#LiveLikeARockefeller: ‘The Rockefellers had a deep love of nature and it shows in this remarkable porcelain service,’ says lifestyle guru Martha Stewart (@マーサ・スチュワート), on one of her favourite pieces from The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller.

Crafted around 1915, this extensive service comprises of 135 dishes, covers, bowls and stands. Peggy spotted the set in a shop window and was immediately drawn to it. David bought it for her as a Christmas present in 1954.

Stewart has fond memories of David, who was her neighbour in Seal Harbor, Maine. ‘I knew David for around 19 years. He was a frequent dinner guest,’ she says. ‘He especially liked unusual dishes, such as pigeon pie, and everything was always his “favourite”. He had a great enthusiasm for good living.’
