In honor of her birthday, pls enjoy me posing in just a sampling of my *many* Ruth Bader Ginsburg tees.
RBG is petite, fearless and as shrewd as it gets.
I for one, don't think it's a coincidence that we have the same favorite album(it's a children's album from the 70s called Free to Be You and Me and it's DOPE)
Notorious RBG keeps it fashionable as well-she doesnt let a stuffy Supreme Court room or those drab judge robes stifle her sartorial objectives! She takes matters into her own hands and adds pizazz with some of the greatest collars you could ever wish to lay your lucky eyes on. The most important of which is a lace "dissent" collar she wears on the day she plans to vote against the grain. What. A. Babe.
One of my favorite of her quotes came after she was asked the question "how would you like to be remembered?" She said:
"Someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability. And to help repair tears in her society, to make things a little better through the use of whatever ability she has. To do something, as my colleague David Souter would say, outside myself. ‘Cause I’ve gotten much more satisfaction for the things that I’ve done for which I was not paid."
For all these reasons and more, she will forever be my idol and my queen, and the one true ruler of the seven kingdoms.
