Monday's Act of Kindness: NY resident Tommy Maher embarked  on a cross-country drive to honor the 58 victims of the mass shooting in Las Vegas to spread kindness in the hometowns of those killed at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival on Oct. 1.
Wanting to spread random acts of kindness, Tommy  took 58 bracelets — each engraved with a victim’s name with him on this journey.  After each good deed he did — which ranged from leaving large tips at restaurants to buying people meals to leaving quarters in envelopes taped to washing machines in a laundry — he also left a bracelet, asking the recipients to perform another kind act in the victims name.
Mr Maher now heads to Florida, with 17 bracelets.  Thank you Tommy.  You bring some light to these very dark days.
