Frank Chapo.
I'm not going to use my own words because they will not suffice. Instead, I will tell a story or 2. - I heard years ago that when Mr Frank & his wife decided to change the carpet in their living room the flooring company ran into a minor problem. After ripping up the old carpet they discovered that behind the couch there were 2 furrows in the wooden foundation that we're going to make it difficult to lay the new carpet. When asked about them his wife replied, "that's where my husband prays every night." --

I heard that years ago Mr. Frank & his wife were walking through an airport when a pickpocketer robbed him of his wallet. Before he got too far Mr. Frank yelled that the man could keep his wallet but before he got away he would like to pray for him. The man returned his wallet.
I wanted to share these stories because Mr. Frank is someone I think about fairly regularly. Growing up in my church he was always known as the nice old man. As I got older, however, I came to realize the amount of wisdom & love he possessed. His cup was truly overflowing with the Holy Spirit. - not to mention he came to America from Hungary where he spent time in a concentration camp during the war. - a couple weeks ago before I left for spring training I wanted to go visit him in the nursing home. I was hoping to ask him for a portrait but when my family & I got there it just didn't feel right. Instead, we just embraced his presence. Mr Frank passed away on Valentine's Day & im willing to bet he kept pouring out the joy & love from his cup into others until his very last breath because every human he ever had contact with was certainly his Valentine. - I'm grateful to have known him. That being said, I'm still very hesitant to use words about him because I fear they just will not help you understand who this man was - I'm very thankful that my sister had the same vision a long time ago to try to portray his endearment in this lovely painting.
