Random landscape, just because, on Shah Porir Dwip Island, Southern Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was just there, which is what troubles me, while waiting to cross by boat across a typhoon eroded swash of land, back to the mainland, after a long day along the Naf River during the Rohingyan refugee crisis last November. I’m not one who really is moved by landscapes. Sure, they’re pretty. So what? Beauty is everywhere, found even in darkness. There has to be something more...
