Last November wasn’t an average morning. Nothing at all average when thousands of women, children and men are not allowed to flee persecution, even death, across a border near the far left before the hills, trying to seek safety into Bangladesh from their birth land, Myanmar. What wasn’t so average was this beautiful sunrise that morning. I’m not one who photographs sunsets or sunrises. Too average, no matter how colorful, unless there is a purpose. That morning there was, my new friends, oblivious to both the light and darkness taking place behind them. Just another average morning for these two at the Bangladesh/Myanmar border, during a not so average sunrise of heaviness.
