I was short on time, but wanted to get a view from inside the canyon, rather than just take a picture from the south rim. After studying the map I realized I could take the South Kaibab Trail 1 1/2 miles down the canyon to the aptly named Ooh Aah Point. Little did I know that the canyon from inside is almost impossible to photograph in late afternoon light because the shadows are too dark. But, after sunset, everything looks amazing.
