Our staff photographer @damonwinter spent his evening on the @ゴールデングローブ賞 red carpet in Los Angeles. (Visit the link in our profile to read about the winners.) This year, the #redcarpet focus wasn’t on the fashion; instead, actresses and some actors used their attire to make a statement about sexual harassment in Hollywood and other spheres. Many actresses wore black in solidarity with #TimesUp, a legal fund started to combat sexual harassment, while others wore black-and-white @timesupnow pins. 8 actresses were accompanied by activists. Among them: Ai-Jen Poo, the director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance, joined #MerylStreep; Saru Jayaraman, an advocate and attorney for restaurant workers, joined #AmyPoehler; and Tarana Burke (@taranajaneen), a civil rights advocate who started the #MeToo movement, joined #MichelleWilliams.
