As promised here is my latest tattoo from last nights session which finished up my ribs, hips and booty before we started on my groin. We came up with the idea for my new intimate tattoo when talking about hair colour how I am a natural dark blonde and don’t fit with any of the colour groups of blonde, brunette, black or redhead. John my tattooist said it’s because I am a mixture of them all, everything at once, the balanced trait of a Libra. Being libra - my birthday is October 13th - my star sign is omega ♎️ and up until yesterday I’d never thought of having my star sign as a tattoo. Seeing as my tattoos are all of peace and strength with doves, birds, butterflies, feathers, wildflowers and roses I wanted a special representation of the omega that would be meaningful to me and not instantly obvious. We discussed the idea of silhouettes and birds and together created this freehand piece of three birds soaring in a rather delicate area which has been my most painful tattoo yet but totally worth it. I hope you’ll excuse the coloured marker pens which are a nightmare to come off and the redness around my ribs from finishing touches to my existing ink. We are still working on connecting up my thigh to my hip and I love the idea of transitions, symbolism and freedom.
