Earlier I shared one of our very last stops after enjoying an epic day trip at a few of the incredible @スミソニアン博物館 museums, but I thought I should rewind and start at the beginning (I’ll include our dinner photo from earlier this evening that some of you may have seen in a swipe feature soon). So this is where our adventures commenced: on the Metro. We spent quite a bit of time sitting here to and fro throughout the day, and it’s a good thing I packed my journaling supplies so I could write while my son drew monsters and sea creatures. Here is a peaceful glimpse when we had the train all to ourselves for a good stretch in the late morning. #tigholidaytravel @thisisground

Highlight of the day? The Butterfly Exhibit at the @smithsoniannmnh. One of the most magical experiences of the year! I can’t wait to share more on this in the next few days. ?
