Next for dessert at @189bydominiqueansel: “Traditions.” Inspired by the time-old trick of using bread as a thickener for sauces, this is our version of tres leches cake, made with almond sponge, three milks (milk, evaporated milk, and banana milk), spice bouquet, orange, and crème fraîche. Rip pieces of the almond cake and soak them in the warm milks, top with a cold dollop crème fraîche, and enjoy.
