The Ultra-Trail World Tour takes us to some interesting places – but few as unique as Cappadocia, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Turkey. A piece of geological and cultural history, you can see ancient subterranean homes carved out of the soft rock dating back to the 4th Century. The natural stone pillars stand as tall as 40m, and the caves contain art from the Byzantine area. Runners will see all of this and more as they tackle the 110k, 60k and 30k routes on October 21st and 22nd.
