This post is in honor of my cousin Ryan, on the far left...and that’s me on the far right. (His little sister Lisa was not in the photo mood and my little sister was concerned). Yesterday after I finished filming I got news that Ryan had spent his last moments on Earth and is now in heaven?❤️ I had posted on my IG stories & Facebook that just barely over 2 weeks ago that he was having excruciating headaches and went to the hospital to find out he had lesions on his brain causing swelling and bleeding and a tumor in his lungs. All from Melanoma (skin cancer). He thought he was fine a month ago...and now just barely over 2 weeks after going to the hospital he’s in heaven? This just makes me want to to tell everyone: PLEASE! PLEASE! Go get your skin checked by a dermatologist...any mole or discolored spot on your skin should be checked and can easily be treated and you’ll be fine but if not checked and it spreads to other organs, like my cousin (it is one of the fastest spreading cancers with an average of 29 people a day dying from Melanoma)...it ends up being beyond treatable. My cousin was so kind and calm. He did 6 tours at war, has a beautiful wife, Alana and 3 precious little girls, 5 months, 7 & 9 years old. Please pray for them...his oldest daughter was having a hard time with just knowing he was in the hospital. Please pray for his sweet mom, Jan and his sister, Lisa...(the one in the picture above)... It breaks my heart for them to not have their daddy because I was an adult and know how much that hurt to lose my dad. I still can’t believe just two weeks ago I posted about the gofundme page to help with what we thought was going to be a month or so of him off work...until he got better from whatever we didn’t know was wrong. Please everyone...be so thankful you have another day to be alive, be thankful for all your loved ones that are alive...tell them you love them. Each day is a gift, no matter how many challenges we face. And please, in honor of my cousin, encourage everyone you know to have their skin checked (annually)...29 people dying a day from Melanoma is too many precious people... #In #Honor #Of #RyanHysell ❤️
