Yes, I'm a single mother of two and I'll be 30yrs old next Friday and I have absolutely no problem sharing pictures like this (and far more) on social media. Perhaps because I don't have any self respect, morals or decency? Because I crave attention? Because I want to embarrass my children when they grow up? Actually it's the very opposite, it's because I was bullied relentlessly for how I looked as a shy child that I detested the very sight of my own reflection up until my teens, it's because pregnancy scarred and stretched and damaged my once flawless skin that I was too insecure to ever appreciate yet mourned terribly what I finally realised I'd always taken for granted after it was gone. It's because I've shed blood sweat and tears to proudly shift my pregnancy weight, recover from an emergency breast reconstruction and CIN II cervical cells whilst working, raising my two children alone (my son is autistic) AND study to qualify as a personal trainer and place second in my first natural bodybuilding contest this year. I'm proud to be a tomboy, I enjoy feeling girly when I have my hair and makeup done for photoshoots. Every body is beautiful, every body should be celebrated, adored and accepted for everything that makes us unique in every wonderful size shape and colour. I'm proud to be perfectly imperfect, I'm proud of everybody I meet for having the guts to get it together, get up and leave their houses because sadly so many suffer just to make it through a morning. Put it into perspective my darlings, recognise that love and kindness feels so much better than criticism, bitterness and jealousy towards others. Together we can overcome #bullying #fatshaming #bodyshaming and #slutshaming it all starts with your own attitude and actions ????#beyou #beyourself #bodyimage #bodyconfidence #girlpower #feminist #feminism #revengebody #postpregnancy #mummytummy
