Elephants are very strong—they can very easily crush and break most items with their trunks and feet. Therefore, any enrichment feeders and toys that keepers give them have to be “elephant-proof.” Maharani (left) and Kamala are using their dexterous trunks to forage for the tasty hay and leaf-eater biscuits hidden inside this enrichment feeder.
