growing up with a mom from the Japanese island of Kyūshū, ramen was a staple in our household.
It wasn't something instant, it was a comfort + hometown love for mom. We always go back to her fave spot in this total dive mall, in Kyūshū, fucking brilliant.
Ramen is regional in Japan and every variety is different depending on what's traditional, and available in your local area. "Tarē" is the base to a great ramen broth & some broths are constantly being simmered, for months and years just to keep its consistency & flavor deep + full of umami.
Ramen, is more of a religion in ?? Japan, it's my heritage + I'm proud to share a variety of ramen recipes with you & you can make them your own!
