Meet Jabea and Jana, two female defassa waterbuck housed at @ParcoNaturaViva. This species inhabits savanna woodlands and forest-savanna mosaics near permanent water. Waterbuck have been eliminated widely from their former range in Africa mainly due to hunting. Although they remain well represented in protected areas, several populations have undergone steep declines.
