This weekend was the beginning of the US Olympic Committee's Sportslink, a week long conference for cities and event centers to connect with National Governing Bodies, like USA Climbing. It's a furious rush of business deals and good food that happens for the sole purpose of expanding the presence of Olympic sports within the US.
It's an honor to represent climbing as a new Olympic sport, but nerve-racking to be speaking to such a high caliber audience of past olympians and coaches! All of their efforts will help put US athletes on the podium in 2020, and THAT I find incredibly motivating.
