A moment like this does not come about due to one persons efforts. My older, wiser friends (@konakyle and Noah Bigwood) gave me words of advice and caution that I took with me into qualifiers. A shout in the crowd during semifinals gave me the determination I needed to finish the one boulder that would end up placing me in finals. The help of no less than 3 fantastic physical therapists (@carriecooper_dpt @c4hp @zgdicristino) throughout my healing process gave my finger the strength it needed. Finally the unconditional love of the crowd made a tired climber into what you saw on that stage. I had imagined many outcomes for myself after this competition, but this was one Id not dared to dream.
