The end goal for effective training is to build not just great quads or gigantic calves, but build legendary legs. I find the best training sessions come when the entire body is in tune and mentally alert. Being neurologically connected with your mind, having positive thought processes and one hell of a ruthless work ethic can assure you much greater chances of success. There are times when that stimulus you're looking for just doesn't come as easy and will cause for more work to be done. Sometimes it could take until the second or third set until you get those three or four great reps the muscle needs. You may set out with a plan to do four sets, but that’s just an estimate based on past experiences. Other days you might be so tuned in that that you get the most stimulation possible in three sets; other days it might take six. Never be afraid to experiment and switch up what you're doing. Be sure to repair your body with the right fuel and supplements needed. Rest up and let's get back at it again tomorrow ??
