How incredible life is my darlings. From facing my hardest of days most recently to feeling the enormous weight of sorrow and worry lifted from my shoulders because of the kindness, love and support of others. It's times when we're most tested in life that we truly grow and find such inner strength and for that I'm eternally thankful. Today my mother had her surgery to rid her of bowel cancer and I cried my eyes out not wanting to let go of her hand and say goodbye because it haunted me that it could be the final time I'd ever see her and every second with her is worth more than all of the riches in the world to me. She had her bowels womb and ovaries removed in a 5hr operation to rid her of cancer and words can't even begin to describe how amazing it was to receive the call from her surgeon just now to say she has survived and everything went as planned. Just days ago we were discussing her wishes for funeral arrangements and finances and now we're looking forward to celebrating her 60th birthday next year when this will all finally be behind us!! The most beautiful blessing of life, a future and for my absolute hero to be able to watch my dear children grow up. Thank you for all of your love and prayers from across the world, for those I have cried on, those who have reminded me they are still here, you all mean so very much to me and I couldn't have got through this without you. Please hug and love and hold your parents so very tight, make them proud, learn from the lessons they teach you and cherish every second.
