LOOK WHO'S SITTING UP! It fully happened today! She can steady herself now and shifts front to back, working to balance and really finding her center. Just a day ago she'd just fall flat forward but now she sits upright! For little moments at a time but it's really happening!!! Ah!!! The excitement is real! 4.5 months. My little angel baby. And yes it feels SUPER weird to edit on little light glints on her tiny almost-not-visible little vagine (in our family we call it a vagine, pronounced like tagine the Moroccan dish? We also sing songs about vagine cream when we change her diaper. Sooo many inside jokes here. But it's the cutest word!). So. You pretty much only see folds (so many!) but I know if I didn't edit it this comment section would go nuts. And some privacy is good yes yes - even though I think having to hide a tiny baby's private parts is having to play along with the whole idea of it being sexualized... Surrendering to it. Sort of the way porn and giant pushed up boobs are ok but pictures of mothers nursing their babies aren't if they show even the hint of a nipple. Our society is messed up! Anyway.
