Home. I'm writing this from bed, nursing a half-sleeping teething angel that stirs and starts kicking if I move even an inch. I want to go brush my teeth but I'm lying here, waiting for a deeper level of sleep to arrive so I can move her tiny little legs that are resting on mine. I love her so much it hurts.
I'm tired. In a good way. We had an amazing retreat group here and I poured myself into them and now I feel like I always do after having taught 10+ yoga classes in five days and cried my heart out while listening to the bravery of beautiful people: tired. Tired, but full. My cup is full. We are going through a lot at the studio, within our team, and also globally. Getting structured and clearing out and preparing for big growth. I feel like we are pulling back the arrow, trying to hold the bow steady. I have some difficult decisions to make. But not right now. Right now... I'm going to sleep. I probably won't brush my teeth. Luna reaches for me now. She sees me coming and lifts up her chubby little arms, smiling, asking to be picked up. My heart makes tiny leaps of "I-can't-believe-she-is-real"-ness every time I see her. She is just so perfect. And I am so lucky.
I don't know what I wanted to say with this post. I haven't shared in a while. I think I just wanted to say hi?? #goodnight
