On one of my last days of climbing in driehoek, I managed the first ascent of this line I found many years ago! At first I didn't know if it was possible so I didn't try it for 2 years. Then last year I started to try it and was able to almost do the 2 crux moves. I knew it could go at least from a stand start! This year I returned as psyched as ever and managed to do the moves I hadn't done before. After a few days of trying I managed to climb the line from a higher start which I am calling "the pirates code," V13 (8B). The sit still remains a project and I can't wait to get back to it next year. I will be dreaming of the moves and the hard ~V13 sequence you have to accomplish before getting into the higher start. This climb when completed could be one of the harder boulders I'll ever climb. Looking forward to next year already!!! Thanks for the photo @punkaca :) #bouldering #southafrica #rockclimbing
