Photo by @amivitale. Naomi Leshongoro is one of the dedicated keepers at Reteti Elephant Sanctuary (@r.e.s.c.u.e) who are all from the local Samburu community. This is also the first wildlife sanctuary where women are working as keepers in East Africa. Living and working on their land, they are rescuing, rehabilitating and re-wilding the wildlife they have lived alongside for generations.
