Day 8 (June 27)!LEARNING TO NOT JUMP ON EVERY OPPORTUNITY - FOLLOW UR PASSION - I was called back for my 2nd interview. I was excited & nervous. As I walked in i realized i was the only female sitting side by side a row of 5 men. So many thoughts running through my mind, “good job jessenia!” “what if you don’t get the position,” “look how far you come,” “what r u doing?!?" Later on that day I got a bitter sweet call back from the firm! THEY WANT ME!!!!! BUT DID I WANT THEM? Usually, I'm a YES woman, always wanting to please ppl n over exceed their expectations. THIS TIME I HAD TO SAY NO! They wanted me relocate to Spain/Brazil to manage their #DoctorsWithoutBorders account This is how it went, "Thank U! Can I think about it?” They said, “Of course!!! Take ur time! The job is urs when ur ready!” I spent all day just thinking about it. I even circled it w a ?Is this what I really want? Is this too fast? Am i just being rash?!? After much thought. I humbly declined the offer. Why? First, I’m not going to run away from everything jus bc its easier to start over that way. I never taken the easy way out & I wasn't going to start now. I need to go thru ALL MY PAIN facing day to day activities, things & places that remind me of us & happy days. I can't just hide from it & forget it existed. No way! Plus my goal is to run a successful business here w my @sincerelypodcast & @generationironofficial family. Above all other things, I need my own family more then ever before! AAAND Thats when I made up my mind to pick up my @ISSAonline book & finish my last unit reading & my quizes so I can FINALLY take my exam !!! My other goal still is to get my personal training certification & use that to change the health-wellness industry. So guess what ?? SCROLL LEFT!!!! I completed ALL the quizzes and now I'll be taking my final this Friday ? PS still looking for a job outside the ER ! Maybe once I get my cert I can start taking clients ?
