First proper training session in 2 and a half weeks!! For the people who didn't know, I got the flu VERY badly when I was away and wasn't able to do much, if anything. On my way back from London I developed a dry cough and just thought it was because I had been on a plane for 24 hours but it still hasn't gone away!! I'm telling you all this because I want you to see it's TOTALLY normal to be sick, to rest and to feel unmotivated. Today was the first day I felt normal again, I did week 5 bbg stronger (yep, I missed two whole weeks). I modified it and went slowly. Don't ever think that taking time off is a bad thing. I still have a little cough but other than that, I feel perfect fine. I'm going to continue to modify my workouts and build back up SLOWLY.
