The World at Night project
A starry night begins on the top of Haleakala summit, 10,000 ft high on Maui, overlooking the Hawaiian islands. It was a funny and striking moment. All the sudden I realized that towering Cumulus cloud resembled a smoking old moon, even looked like the Popeye, sitting on top of the clouds, watching the new crescent moon! Its amazing how our brain quickly identify human face and figure in everything. This ability is so important in humans that the brain appears to have an area devoted to the task.
