The 25 drawings that make up Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Collection artist Susan’s Hefuna’s work “Notations” (2011), are the result of a collaboration with choreographer Luca Veggetti. Begun while observing Veggetti’s dancers during rehearsals for a performance at @DrawingCenter in New York, these drawings “trace the invisible lines that a dancer draws through the space he [or] she occupies,” as Hefuna says. "Notations" is on view as part of Guggenheim Abu Dhabi’s second collection show "The Creative Act" at Manarat Al Saadiyat. Learn more at guggenheim.org/thecreativeact. ––
