#RunForTheOceans ? The thread in these adidas @parley.tv kicks is made out of recycled marine waste. In each pair of the trainers there is the equivalent of 11 plastic bottles. Isn't that just incredible? And @adidas are making over a million pairs. Which means millions of animals and natural habitats are being saved ? Plastic is killing our oceans. And if our oceans die, we die. 90% of seabirds have plastic in their stomachs. 90% of big fish species have disappeared since 1950. More than 2/3 of the Great Barrier Reef is severely bleached. We have to do something NOW ?? @adidas Running is changing the game. I feel so proud to be an ambassador for a brand which is taking huge steps towards saving our worlds oceans. I am extremely passionate about this subject. I use reusable straws, water bottles and coffee cups when I can. I try to avoid unnecessary packaging at the supermarket. I don't eat fish. Each of these changes, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference collectively ??
