A small flock of fledgling #adeliepenguin's watching intently for their parents to return, with any luck bringing a meal. For these little guys here it won't be long until they have to fend for themselves, hunting in the icy waters and a life of enduring the harsh Antarctica conditions. This beautiful frozen paradise is changing with every passing year, among the biggest change is receding sea ice, a direct result of warmer conditions and #climateChange. This is a huge issue for the world alike; for these penguins, it means less krill, as krill feed on bacteria that grows on sea ice. For the world, increased temps and rising ocean levels.
