Two young boys herding the family cattle along the outskirts of #GonarezhouNationalPark in #Zimbabwe. It's a true African wilderness here, with elephants, lions, leopard and animals of all shapes and sizes living and migrating directly through the area. Encounters with these animals is a daily occurrence and can of course be dangerous. During the harvest, farmers actually sleep among their fields to stand guard to prohibit elephants from devouring their entire crop. Their only defense and deterrent is loud noise, often done by pounding pots and pans and holding up lanterns to alarm these big animals to steer out of their fields. It's nothing new, something people have been doing here for many, many generations in this beautiful part of the world. @jacadatravel
