Wild dog just might be my favorite predator, exceptionally efficient hunters and incredibly bonded as a pack. This photo here was taken while we watched the pack systematically tracking a herd of wildebeest, sniffing for signs and moving through the thick mopanee forest. Wild dogs have the highest percent kill rate of any other predator in the African wild, weighing in at 80%. They have incredible stamina which they strategically use to run animals to exhaustion. The social structure among the pack is fiercely loyal and when they aren't hunting it's a dogs life of playing, preening one another and lounging in the sun. @danahrichardson @jacadatravel
