Visiting studios and working directly with artists are among our favorite aspects of being curators. For #TheCreativeAct we commissioned a new interactive installation by #HesamRahmanian, #RaminHaerizadeh, and #RokniHaerizadeh (@raminroknihesam). Specially conceived for this exhibition—and inspired by its themes #performance, #process, #presence—“Another Happy Day” (2016–17) is a multi-room installation with paintings, videos, and sculptures made collaboratively with other artists, including #NargessHashemi. As you can see in the slideshow, the artists painted directly on the floor and walls, and visitors enter through what the artists playfully call a “rabbit hole”—a narrow hallway painted in a hypnotic black-and-white pattern. One of our favorite memories during the installation was listening to the daily playlist the artists chose while they transformed the space.
