Happy birthday #YvesKlein, born on this day in 1928. In "Large Blue Anthropometry (ANT 105)" (ca. 1960), Klein famously used nude female models drenched in paint as “brushes.” His system of pressing bodies against the paper rejected any illusion of a third dimension in the pictorial space. Instead, the subject, object, and medium become confused with one another to produce an outline of the body.
