"I was awake at 5:30am with no plans to take photographs, then I saw the Canon USA Instagram #sunrise theme alert and began to feel inspired. With an hour before sunrise, I gathered my gear, drove a few minutes to a #beach I knew would be isolated and was surprised when I saw how great the #landscape before me looked. It happened to be the day of the year when the sun rises between Koko Head Crater and Hanauma Ridge. I was there on the perfect day, thanks to some #CanonFanPhoto inspiration." #MyCanonStory #Hawaii
