April 15-23 is #NationalParkWeek – created by @nationalparkservice and our conservation partners @goparks to celebrate America's National Parks. We're highlighting a different national park every day through April 23.
Today we're retracing the steps of the Alaska gold rush to @klondike_alaska_nps in Skagway, Alaska. During the 1897 gold rush, tens of thousands of people headed to Alaska seeking riches. If you're seeking gorgeous views and challenging hiking instead of gold, you can trace the stampeders' path on the tough, remote and stunning Chilkoot Trail – "the meanest 33 miles of history."
