Horses and yak graze near the shore of Namtso Lake, the largest in the Tibetan Autonomous Region and highest in the world at 15,479 ft. This natural, salt lake is sacred to the Tibetans and is accessible by road from Lhasa. I get to travel to some pretty amazing places but without organizations like @nature_org working hard to protect them, that just wouldn’t be possible.
