Photographer Todd Hido recalls a recent drive, when snow slid from the roof of his car to his windshield ‘creating a beautiful wet streaking pattern'. The landscape he saw through the glass had changed, adopting ‘fuzzy spots’ closer to a recalled image.

The artist's work will be offered as part of 'Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation' – 6 April at Christie's New York, Rockefeller Center.
