Bret McKenzie, flanked by presenters Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, after being awarded the Oscar for Original Song for “Man or Muppet” from The Muppets (2011). McKenzie, half of the musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, gave a shout out to Kermit the Frog during his acceptance speech. “He’s just a normal frog,” McKenzie said about the subject of the winning tune. “And like many stars here, he’s a lot shorter in real life.”
