This brief, intangible, fragile beauty! Where everything begins, nature is born, life starts anew. I love new beginnings. I long for that moment where everything looks possible. It's a blessing that belongs almost exclusively to Spring. It's a second chance for me, another 'new year' (#Norouz, the Persian one), an opportunity to go through the list of goals and resolutions and renew them.
It's warm and sunny in Rome and today I spied tourists in shorts. March and April are full of exciting projects and events (@cucina_corriere 's #CiboARegolaDarte in Milan and their #CucinaBlogAward where I am a finalist!), two sold-out supper club dates with the sweet @a_gipsy_in_the_kitchen, the release of the #BeyondThePlateBook by @prestel_uk that features "30 top food blogs from around the world" that I'm incredibly honored to be a part of, my birthday. The latter three are even on the same day (April 3rd)! But now let's get focused on the Persian Year and the preparations. I have soaked my lentils, (but forgot to water them today).
