What a fantastic morning photographing this huge herd of bison in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Bison may seem like smelly, gigantic prehistoric beasts, but they have a certain grace, pride, and beauty to them. Amazing golden early morning light falling from the sky, peaceful creatures walking just feet away from me, and not another soul around...pure bliss.
