Evening walk. Purposely taking all the really bumpy roads along the north shore! And yes, I'm wearing my nightie all day err day. Haven't washed my hair all week, thus the very attractive bun. Haven't put on makeup in weeks. I literally don't care about anything other than giving birth! I've been feeling some very light cramps all day... But I don't want to get my hopes up so not paying much attention to it? Obsessing over this baby being born is like staring at a pot waiting for the water to boil. So, I'm not thinking about it. Not at all. Just veeeery casually drinking raspberry leaf tea, eating dates, taking evening primrose oil, going for walks, driving down bumpy roads, cleaning the house, eating eggplant parm, bouncing on my Pilates ball, eating pineapple, cinnamon, turmeric, squatting, doing acupressure, walking stairs and trying every other wives tale in the book rumored to induce labour. Just, you know, casually. Ha! There is absolutely nothing casual about being this pregnant.
Our doula recommended that we stop calling her Poppy and that we start calling her by her real name to help with her transition. She's not a Poppyseed anymore! So... It starts with an L☺️ Any guesses? x #waitingforpoppy #waitingforLxxxxxx #pregnancy #motherhood #love
