A highlight from @missgowhitely now on view at Rockefeller Center: It's hard not to love our cover lot, "Coach" by David Hammons, for its intensity, its wall power and its sociocultural significance. Hammons created the work by coating himself with grease, pressing his body against the board and then dusting the otherwise invisible image with white pigment. The result is a powerful visual statement suggesting the unfathomable complexity of identity, particularly in regards to race.
