I've been thinking about time a lot today- and how those things in our lives that have been around longer than us have seen so much change. I've been thinking about Georgine and how much the world has changed in her lifetime. I've also been thinking about the floor beams in our house and how many people with different points of views and dreams have walked in them since they were built in 1850. I just hope we can leave the things around us better than we found them- with more love and care and support. This week feels like a step backwards in so many ways, but these old shutters that @minarv posted in #dspink remind me that there are still lessons to be learned and new generations to come. I hope our generation won't forget the lessons of those before us and I hope the next generation in positions of power will do more to support people and treat them with respect, love and care ❤
