Last night I had the honor of joining @thelmagolden @daniellecoldingdesign @ishkadesigns @thenaomijackson and @daniellehenderson for a discussion with the amazing teen leaders at Harlem's @groovewithmeinc
Groove with Me is youth development organization that uses free dance classes to teach girls and young women about leadership, pride, the spirit of cooperation, creativity, joy and discipline. I was blown away not only by the amazing women on the panel (as always, their stories inspire me beyond words) but by the brilliant and thoughtful young minds in front of us. Their questions were so insightful, caring and deep- I spent my train ride home wondering about each of these amazing young women's lives and what they'll do next. I just know I'm excited to go see them all perform in June!
