[@bpatrickflynn] Dark colors are, hands down, my all-time favorite; however, they're a hard sell for clients and homeowners who worry they'll shrink the room or create a dreary mood. One of the best ways to keep dark colors from becoming too drastic is to incorporate patterns with light and dark neutral touches.
