A shoelace tied between two plastic chairs outside on the balcony. A pair of underwear tied to it.
The last match in that fetish-box taken from a Cairo hotel, two years ago by now.
The used up, crusty and muddy sneakers, after the game played while the storm was punching away at the small island.
The blisters under my feet, the mosquito bites.
The plate of noodle from the Lagoon Hotel, with the sunny side up egg over it. It looked gross but it was good.
The tip of the boat barely visible in the Indian Ocean night.
The fly that came in and it definitely is not going out the same way…
The stare you meet by chance on the other side of the road.
Everything I don’t shoot are part of the journey. An album of faded memories is all that remains of the thousands of things we do, of the days we live.
What are we made up of? Of wind of insurrection, of solid memories…
And that happiness, the simple kind, that sometimes falls down from the sky above the sea.
